How To Clean Your Shark Vacuum Lift-away NV360 In 5 Steps
Have you ever wondered why the suction of the Shark navigator NV360 is not as strong as when you first bought it? The answer is because dirt and debris cling to the filter and dustbin, causing the suction power to decrease. The shark navigator lift-away nv360 also reduces cleaning power when the brush gets entangled with hair. Or it catches an unpleasant smell after many uses. Those are the signs for you to know that it's time to clean your Shark.
Things to do before cleaning the machine
5 steps to clean your Shark nv360 vacuum
Once you've completed the above 3 things, let's start cleaning the Nv360 shark vacuum with these 5 easy steps:
1. Clean trash cans
This is something you still do often during use. This time, after emptying the trash, use more water and soap to clean the dirt and stains on the bin. Then let it dry naturally and clean the remaining parts.
2. Clean the filter
For Shark NV360 , there are 3 filters you need to pay attention to two filters right under the trash can and a HEPA filter in front. All 3 filters are washable.
You can easily see the two filters under the trash can after disassembling this part. For the foam filter, you just need to wash it with soap and rinse it with water. For the disc filter, take it out and rinse it under running water until it's clean. Both filters must be left to dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
3. Clean HEPA filter
Depending on whether the membrane can be washed or not, you have different cleaning methods. If the membrane is washable, simply rinse it under running water until the dust is gone, then let it dry for 24 hours. As for the non-washable HEPA type, you just need to knock hard on the floor or wall to remove all the dust.
4. Brush cleaning
A common problem with brushes is the tangled hair blocking the rotation and pulling other debris into it. Handling is also very simple. First, you need to remove the brush’s protective part (cap) according to the manual and reveal the brush roll. Then use scissors to cut out the entangled areas carefully. After cleaning, put the cover back on, and you're done.
5. Cleaning straws (Hose)
First, you need to remove the hose from the upright vacuum. Then use a long stick to clean the obstructions inside the tube. Next, soak the entire line in a basin of warm soapy water for about 30 minutes and make sure to clean the inside. Finally, rinse with water and let dry naturally.
With just 5 simple steps above, you have a Shark Navigator Lift Away Deluxe NV360 upright vacuum as clean as new! Don't forget to clean your vacuum cleaner every 2-3 months to help it work efficiently and increase its lifespan! |
